THOUGHTS: Things to think about

Thoughts/Things to think about #1

You might Google how Norma McCorvey, aka Jane Roe dealt with winning the court decision and share with me your thoughts as it certainly adds a twist to the event.

You have to keep in mind that those who know me, certainly know that I hold my (and your) personal rights sacred.

Can you explain to me why the Supreme Court is being blamed for denying abortions when all they did was turn that decision over to the states.  There was a great war over those rights.

That said, why don’t those who believe in abortions set up a funding organization to allow those who want them to travel to states that allow them?  In other words, putting one’s money where one’s mouth is?

As long as I can recall in my medical studies, there always has been a great debate over as to how and when life begins which leads to even a bigger question:  Should doctors be forced to perform them (as some hospitals require) if they truly perceive them as murder; much like conscientious objectors decline to serve in the military; at least with weapons?

If abortions are not murder, do we release those from prison who have been convicted of a double murder for killing a pregnant woman in the 30 states that have so declared?

Yep, this is America where arguments are settled in court where only one can  prevail, the trick being to accept the decision.  I thinks, is easier to live together when you truly listen and understand all sides.

Interestingly California has a governor who has promised tax payer funds for both travel and procedure.  Perhaps it would be most fair if the “believers” would set up their own superfund?  On top of this all, California happens to be one of those states where killing a pregnant woman is considered a double murder.  WHAT????
